The Human Factor in Digital Transformation and AI 🔥

Communication services-oriented organizations are racing to digitize everything and jump on the #AI bandwagon 🤖, arguing that by automating services, streamlining workflows, and cutting human touchpoints, they can boost efficiency and increase profits 💰, hoping to magically transform outdated services, business models, bad management, and lack of leadership into profitable businesses 🤨
But are they setting themselves up for failure by investing in and putting all their hopes in rebranded and overhyped machine learning technology that, by developers’ own admission, hallucinates 🤯, while neglecting to care for and put the people first?
Just asking for #wisdom 🦉

Everyone wants digital twins to enable virtual management of networks and systems and AI to drive processes, boost predictability, reduce risk, and increase profits, and all that buzzy jazz... but are companies doing enough to avoid throwing humans under the bus 🥵, thinking only about their pockets instead of building a world where humanity thrives?
Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t about downplaying AI, but about reflecting on whether we want to live in a simulated world like the Matrix, where humans feed the machine, or one where technology enables better working conditions and #balanced outcomes ⚖️ for both investors watching stock performance and the humans on the front lines using the services. If you are not already leveraging next-gen digital systems and AI, you’re already behind! Continue driving change, digital progress, and boosting performance, but do it with #people first in mind!! 🚀
Did you know?
While boosting technology stacks and leveraging next-generation #digital tools can deliver substantial efficiencies in #network #projects, without #leadership involvement and human-centered approaches, companies risk employee pushback and even deliberate obstruction to adoption progress if the people feel threatened 😮
Word to the wise… sound leadership strategy must approach change as a process, ensuring that antecedents and conditions for #success are identified and addressed before jumping into the transformation tug-of-war madness. Fancy PowerPoints with marketing-polished, well-articulated visions presented over Zoom calls won’t magically drive the kind of change most companies want.
Lead with "why" and "what's in it for the people" 🧩
Organizations that succeed will be those that recognize technology as a tool for human empowerment, not replacement.
The true mission of leaders is to create more #leaders 🚀
